Deepan N. Patel, MD, is a Magna cum Laude graduate of Jefferson Medical College, now Sidney Kimmel Medical College/Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was awarded his medical degree. His postgraduate training includes his orthopedic surgery residency served at NYU Langone Orthopedic Center in New York, as well as his sports medicine fellowship performed at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic – Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California, where he served as the assistant team physician for a number of Los Angeles professional sports teams, including the Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Sparks, Anaheim Ducks, and teams from Loyola Marymount University. Dr. Patel attained board certification in orthopedic surgery with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
